The SIG3D Leadership Team is incredibly excited about our inaugural events at the ISTE Conference in San Antonio this summer. Since the December announcement of this Special Interest Group for 3D in Education, interest and membership has increased dramatically! With over 800 members, we can’t wait to see what this SIG can accomplish over the next year.

For those of you attending the 2013 ISTE Conference, here are three ways to get involved in SIG3D events:
1. Visit us at the SIG Open House — Meet your leadership team and get to know other members of this new and growing SIG! Sunday, June 23 from 3:00-5:00 PM in the SACC Tower View Lobby.
2. Participate in the inaugural SIG3D Gathering – Join us as we discuss innovations in educational stereoscopic 3D, showcase 3D educators, network with other members, and build the future of SIG3D! Tuesday, June 25 from 5:00-6:15 PMin the SACC Social Butterfly and Newbie Lounge, West Reg.
3. Be a SIG3D Gathering Learning Station Presenter – Are you an educational innovator, successfully using stereoscopic 3D technologies in your classroom, school or district?? If so, we would love to showcase you in a 3D Learning Station at our SIG3D Gathering! The SIG3D Leadership Team and I are looking forward to connecting with other 3D educators and leaders at the conference…. and touching base virtually in the coming year as well. To find out more about SIG3D, visit us at www.iste.org/sig3D and @ISTE_SIG3D.
